Exceptional

Purchased the TJ16 and C2750 Package to replace a broken DE filter. I ran the pool for about a month with no filter. Needless to say it accumulated a heavy amount of sediment. The water became crystal clear after running the filter for 12 hours. i am very impressed with the performance of the units. The TJ16 pre-filter is catching a lot of the dirt before main filtration with an easy to cleanout process. Highly recommended, five stars!!

Great upgrade

Replaced my 12 yr old de filter with this combo. Easy to install and I think the water is just as clear. I run at 10 psi at the filter and am looking forward to not having to clean the filter more than once or twice a season.

Great Addition to any setup

Replaced my sand filter with the CC150. In addition I added a tj-16 Cyclone pre-filter and a SmartFlo VS pump. This right after I had my concrete deck replaced with pavers. Contractor got tons of dirt, sand, and grout in the pool. The Typhoon did a fantastic job of capturing the bulk of the sediment, and the CC150 was so easy to disassemble and clean with no backwashing!! I think a lot of people underestimate the savings especially with a salt pool (RJ30 of course). My water is so clear now, the contractor who is pricing me out a new liner said he had to measure the deep end 3 times as he couldn't believe it was 8ft deep!!

A: Yes absolutely. That being said, if you haven't yet upgraded your pool to using a salt chlorine generator I would recommend taking the opportunity to do that as well - and we can offer greatly discounted combo pricing. Q: I'm in central Florida and have a 20,000 Gal screened in salt pool. I have your RJ 45+ Salt Cell and your SmartFlo 1.5 Horse VS Pump. I'm looking at your two stage filter system with the TJ-16 and a CJ filter. What size would you recommend for the CJ? I was thinking the CJ 2750 or CJ 180, but would like your recommendation. A: From what you describe, either of those would be plenty of capacity for your pool size. A larger capacity typically means you just need to clean it out less frequently. Since both would give you that, the CJ180 is a little slimmer so it could be a good choice if you have a tightly-packed equipment pad. If you have room, the CJ2750 would give you even more capacity.

Q: The dual filter combos - do the cartridge filters come with a cartridge filter? Or do you have to also buy the cartridge in addition to the combo cost? For example - thinking about the dual filter combo with the CJ 2750 . Will the dual combo purchase include the cartridge or will the combo arrive without a cartridge?

A: All of our swimming pool cartridge filters come with the cartridges already inside. The replacement filter element is typically only needed years down the road, unless you wanted to have some on hand as spares.

A: In the product description, you'll see a list of filter sizes and recommended maximum pool sizes. Essentially, the bigger the main filter, the more it can hold before it needs to be cleaned out.
