Q:for the CJ-2750 Cartridge Filter, how many filter cartridges are there? Looks like two stacked. What are the part numbers for the filter cartridges?

Q:do your filters require media like DE or fiber substitutes?

A: As a cartridge filter, it simply uses its internal cartridges which are re-usable and are easy to wash off when needed. It doesn't use DE or any additional media.

Q:my pool is 40,000 gallons, what is the best size filter? what is the cost of filters?

A: Sizing is partially dependent on your environment and use (ex: if you have a lot of trees). At your pool size, you would likely at least want to look at a 400 s.f. cartridge filter if not bigger. You can also boost your effective capacity by adding a TJ16 Typhoon pre-filter. You can see the cartridges for this filter and other here: https://www.circupool.com/Replacement-Cartridges_c_54.html

Q:how long is it typically before you have to change the filter. I have a DE filter and usually backwash every 2-3 months.

A: If you size the new filter with a similar capacity, it should need to be cleaned at a similar frequency, or if you get more capacity it should need less frequent cleaning. The cartridges themselves just get washed off and re-used, so if you treat them right they last for years.

Q:Does the filter come with the initial cartridge or is that ordered separately? Can CJ-2750 handle a 15,000 gallon pool that also has an RJ30+ salt cell unit?
