Common Questions

Q:How do I actually use an ozone system on my pool?

Asked by: Ben Cooper - 2/14/2022
A: Once you set it up during installation (which is easy, just turning a ball valve to create the right amount of flow), there's nothing else to do! It should run every day alongside your pump, dramatically increasing water clarity and reducing the chemical demand by 60-90% as it injects small amounts of ozone into the water. It's "set it and forget it".

Q:Interested in purchasing this with a variable speed pump and saltwater generator. I understand the saltwater generator can be wired to constant power and will be activated by the flow switch. How do I control the Ozone Generator operation in this setup?

Asked by: Jim - 2/14/2022
A: The simplest way to do it would be to plug the ozone generator into this timer:

You can also wire the ozone system directly to an existing timer box. For more solutions, just give us a call: 888-206-9938

Q:How does this get connected to my pool equipment?

Asked by: Kerry - 2/14/2022
A: The wall unit plugs into an outlet for power, and it has a tube that connects to the plumbing with a few clamps. The plumbing consists of a few PVC fittings that you'll glue inline after your pump, filter, and heater if you have one.

Q:I have a 12,000 G pool, is this too big for me to use?

Asked by: Scott - 2/14/2022
A: Not at all, this system can cover virtually any pool size. In fact you would just get proportionately more benefit from it – your salt system would need to work even less hard, you would get even greater water clarification, etc... For the $20 difference it's giving you a pretty huge benefit.
