Q: I currently own a Circu-pool Si series chlorine generator,. The current cell is a Si30 that has a maximum output to sustain a 30,000 gal pool. I have a 28,000 gal pool. The cell is in need to be replaced. Can I replace the Si 30 cell with a Si 45 cell?

A: Yes, that would be compatible and would well worth it. You would just change the cell type to "f-15" on the controls.

Q: I need to replace my cell and can't find the model number. The cell is the Si series but I ma not sure if it is the 45 or the 30. My pool is a final liner 15x30 deep end 15 feet shallow end 3 feet. I live in South Florida. What would you recommend?

A: You could likely get by with the Si-30, but the price difference is pretty small and you'll get much more for your money with the Si-45 and have a better experience.

Q: Can I put a Si-60 cell on a Si-45 power supply?

A: It depends on the age of the system. Older systems you can not, they do not have a big enough power supply inside and they do not have the correct cell type setting.
