Purchased replacement cell

Recently my salt cell stopped working after four years, the staff located my cell system, offered several suggestions to get more life out of it, and after two weeks I went ahead and purchased a new replacement cell. The new one worked great, and I hope I get the same life span out of it. Customer Service was great!

Q: Since the SJ 30 is out of stock can I use this one instead?

A: This item can replace the SJ-30 cell, and will provide additional capacity for your salt system. Meaning, you'll be able to turn your system down so it will get less wear-and-tear, last longer, and you can turn it up higher when needed.

Q: What does it indicate on a Circupool SJ40, If the cell seems to turn things in the housing an orange color? Is it a cell problem or a chemical problem?

A: If the clear housing has an orange/brown tint to it, that typically indicates the presence of iron in the water. As it goes through the electrolytic cell it can get taken out of the water and deposited on the materials that are present.
